Have you ever been in a position where you feel “stuck?” I am speaking specifically about jobs. How many of us have settled for things we thought we needed versus pursuing the things we want? One of the reasons I am so passionate about helping people, is because I know what it is like to feel stuck! Waking up every morning with a negative attitude towards the job I had to go to that day has taught me a lesson. I had an attitude problem. Now, we are not going to go digging into all the things I have done or thought wrong in my life, that would take up too much of your time (smile), but after I almost had a nervous breakdown dealing with serious panic, fear, and anxiety attacks, I decided to take charge of my thoughts and feelings. I began to ask myself this question…”What if you find something to be thankful and grateful for right in the midst of the negative feelings and disappointments coming your way?” Sounds silly doesn’t it? Well, I gave it a try! I have discovered that having an attitude of gratitude while being thankful is a HUGE relief. I feel closer to God every day and because of this, I know that I can make it through anything that comes my way. I want to encourage each of you to evaluate where you are today. How do you feel? What are some things you would like to see happen in your life? Now…what can we do to get started? I know….let’s get our hearts and our minds right so that we can be clear on exactly what God wants to do through us. Blessings!
